Catholics know so little about Abortion!

Our catechism proclaims that recognition of sin requires full knowledge – Catholics know almost nothing about abortion as a sacriledge sin which Pope Benedict condemned so bluntly and clearly.

The Church as a whole clearly avoids and refuses to disseminate the matter of sin in the case of abortion. Any and all [with a tiny exception] Catholic assemblies refuse to clearly discuss WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, AND WHY ABORTION IS THE PREEMINENT MATTER OF SIN IN THE CHURCH [AS WAS ARGUED IN THE NOVEMBER USCCB MEETING, IN WHICH THE BISHOPS ARGUED AND AFFIRMED SUCH]

I am 84 years old and can remember a handful of clear sermons from a Catholic Sunday Mass pulpit that focused on the act of abortion and why it is a mortal sin and a Catholics’ responsibility to end abortion in their ability to do so.

We pro-life Catholics are fed up for decades how the clergy of the church will spend serious money and public dissemination  for the Bishops’ Annual appeals and numerous appeals for money over every year – and say virtually nothing comparable about ABORTION. Even life Sundays are bereft of anything blunt and strong about Catholic responsibility so that they may form a clear conscience against this terrible sin – so that they will do everything they can to end it – so that they stop voting for politicians who support legal abortion and even vote to use our own money to pay for it!  ABORTION WOULD LIKELY END IN A FEW YEARS IF ALL CATHOLICS VOTED AGAINST THE ABORTION SUPPORTER IN EVERY ELECTION: LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL.
